The People, The Culture, The Food – Myanmar
Part 3: The Outskirts of Mandalay

Watch Part 4

This is part 3 of my “The People, The Culture, The Food – Myanmar” series.
You can watch episode 1 here: Inle Lake, Myanmar.
Or, watch episode 2 here: Mandalay, Myanmar

In this episode, we get out of the city and do some exploring on the outskirts of Mandalay. We go to Inwa, an ancient town that’s dotted with ruins of pagodas, monasteries, and a watch tower. After that, we take the bridge over the Ayeyarwady River to Sagaing, a stupa-filled town with some great pagodas with amazing views. Finally, we go to U Bein Bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world. It’s one of the most memorable places that we went to in Myanmar, and this was most definitely one of the most memorable days we spent in the country. We’re happy to share it with you. Enjoy!
