More than an Eye Sore: The Darker Side of Travel
Sara and I sat down on the patio of a fairly nice café and ordered two Laos coffees. Something in me sparked at the thought of the black liquid. Probably an addiction. I resisted the urge to scratch at my eye, which was swollen practically shut from a mosquito bite received a few days earlier. Over Sara’s shoulder a young busboy piled up some plates. Before taking them inside, he walked over to a planter that held some beautiful orange flowers. Pulling the front of his pants down, he plopped his dick out and squirted six seconds worth of piss into the planter, then flipped his dick back into his pants and took the plates inside. Where’s that waitress with my coffee?
All aboard the Megabus for Philadelphia!
When I saw a deal on bus tickets to Philly – $20 each roundtrip – I jumped on them. I probably should have crunched some numbers first, but every time I tried the only number I could think of was 20.
We only had a weekend, so this was a short trip with a ton of bus time. If you don’t count sleeping, we spent about the same amount of hours on the bus as we did in Philly. Not ideal, but still worth the effort. Megabus was comfy and inexpensive. We managed to get the front seats on the upper deck, so we had a great view and lots of leg room.
Philadelphia is a really cool city. If you are going to travel around America, your stop in Philly will be your history class. Watch the video for more information and to see Sara rap.
Singapore: The Last Days
After bobbing across the South China Sea from Tioman Island, Sara and I found ourselves nervously waiting for our 12:30 bus at the Mersing Terminal. At the advice of some information we read on the ever-so-reliable internet, we had booked the bus days ahead while in Melaka. The girl at the Mersing ticket counter was surprised when I mentioned a 12:30 bus to Singapore, but she told us it would come. She was right. Thirty minutes late and filled with sleepy passengers, it arrived. The driver told us we would have to transfer to get to Singapore. His English wasn’t great so we spent most of the ride wondering if our transfer location would be obvious.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: High-Tech City Southeast Asian stylez

Kuala Lumpur is one of those epic Asian cities that conjures up a thousand images at once. A picture of skyscrapers and technological forwardness, hot but cool, with the image of the impressive Petronas towers jutting out from it all. We were very excited about Kuala Lumpur.
Shaved Across Southeast Asia
I wait, slightly nervous, as a boy slowly has his hair cut. The barber runs the comb through the hair and snips at it with the scissors. The end result is a hairdo that I refer to as “the Asian”. I’m definitely not here for one of those. Two weeks of traveling has left me with a patchy fuzz across my face. It’s time we parted ways. I get into the chair and am reclined to 180 degrees.
